Assalamualaikum
Some good reminder from ustaz today:
1. We pray everyday but the pray is not stopping us from doing bad thing. Why? Isn't pray is the way to avoid doing bad thing/ harm thing/ sin. Possible reason is that our pray is not correct
2. When we start pray we said Allahuakbar (Allah is great). Are we said it correctly? For example, if we say Aaallahuakbar, it means is god great? That become a question while Allahuakbaaaar means god is a drum. Arabic language is so rich so be careful with your pronounciation. Be careful with the short/ long (harakat) when you pronounce it.
3. Some races cannot pronounce Arabic words correctly and this is accepted. for Malay, they must pronounce it correctly because Malay tongue can do that. If Malay not pronounce correctly, it is mere ignorance/ dont want to learn..
4. Takbiratul ihram (saying Allahuakbar when start praying) is 'Rukun Qauli' means you must say it for at least you yourself can hear it. If you say only in your heart, it is not correct thus your pray is not correct. Surah Al-Fatihah is also Rukun qauli so you must recite it with your toungue not your heart. You must hear what you recite..
and god knows better..
