Thousand miles journey

Ehem…. Innovation creates success and being innovative in your business is one of the keys to being successful. Innovation is the introduction of new processes, new ways of doing things and revolutionising how things have been accomplished previously. Innovation isn't just about improvement; it's much more than that. Improvement is taking what you have and making it better - doing more of the same but better, whereas innovation is about discovering new methods and making changes.
Innovation requires you to think and come out of your self-perceived box. As an individual your box will differ from other people's and the edge of your box is where you start to experience limiting thoughts and beliefs. You'll need to step beyond these in order to be innovative. For instance, the edge of your box may be that "There is no way this can be achieved in these time restraints", whereas stepping outside it is "What new ideas and methods can we utilise to get this done?", or "What can be done differently?" and "To get this done what shift do I need to make in my approach?".Perhaps the shift you need to make is to be more focused, inspired or challenged. So visualize yourself as this person. This will stretch you beyond the limitations of the situation and create a new experience.
Being innovative requires you to think and be wacky and tactfully as well. The ideas you generate may seem ridiculous or even outrageous, but keep going and make them even more far-fetched (always remember why Superman remain as super hero for decades). Then you'll find some gems of inspiration, even if they're only small to start with. Be willing to move beyond the way it's always been.
To be innovative you need to be willing to give it one more go. When some things don't work out and may be seen as a "failure", you need to rise above this and not let it dampen your spirits. Innovators are not satisfied with the status quo; they're ready to shake it up and be outrageous.
One aspect that holds people back from being innovative is they don't see themselves as such. They believe innovation is reserved for the elite few. This isn't necessarily true. Most people have the potential to be innovative. They may not have experienced this before or been willing to see it and play with it.
You can be innovative if you choose to be so. The first step is often to give yourself freedom to be innovative. Enjoy this freedom and allow yourself time for this innovation to surface. You may need to loosen up before your innovative juices really start to flow.Aside from self-belief in your innovative powers, a strong compelling vision for your business allows innovations to come to life. Your business vision is your dream, what you 'see' as possible. It's an out of the box, unrealistic, inspiring, idealistic and possibly outrageous statement for your business.Your vision opens up a new paradigm, a new level of thinking and being which encourages your innovation to grow.

Thousand miles journey

ehem... 1st is risk..2nd is passion..3rd is knowledge.. these are 3 interdependant elements to ensure success can be catapulted by those who wanna be somebody.. when i said bout these 3 elements is not just bout surface only.. u must have indepth knowledge...high passion and high risk..then only we will able to manifest these elements into 'superman factor'..... we hav started at some point... AIR Resources can be a platform to steer our mov towards d 'big' stuff.. i was thinking of by end of this 2011..AIR got to start a project that are feasible (financially).. and my plan is to build 2 houses for rental on mum's property. 1/4 of the rental shall goes to Tahaas whilst 3/4 for AIR+ investors (limited to Tahasian only)...offcoz this just my proposal..n consent from Tahaasian are needed (votes offcoz..)... Let us crack our head to materialised this plan..by hook or by crook..without fail!!!!!!

New Frontiers

Assalamualaikum

Chapter one- No risk No pain, No pain No gain..

Whenever came prayers time, Prophet Muhammad will call his companion Bilal and said,"rest us Bilal..". As Prophet muhammad and his companions are working hard, prayer is the time for them to have relaxation/ meditation towards god the almighty. They are charging their body and mind so that they become more energatic afterwards..

Our strength is our number. Lets practice what we do during prayer in our daily life- straighten the line and move closer. I'm sure we can achieve whatever we want to achieve..

The beauty is that none of us are similar in our traits and capablities. Like fingers- each have their own unique features and responsibilities, some good in accounting, others good in ehem..ehem talking, thinking?, technical thing, or sleeping..Then we can complement each others (except for sleeping)

The only problem I can see clearly is that none of us have ball enough to take the risk hik..hik.. You know what I mean..how to grab a big thing if we still hold small cookies in a our palms?

Last few days, I was talking to Abang MB and he mentioned, there are 3 things we must overcome to be successful. First thing is risk. But unlucky for me that Abang MB forgot to mention the other two. Hopefully he can share his wisdom here. Even if he is not successful (yet), at least somebody outside there can pick up the thing and be successful (wish I'll be the first)..

Chapter 2- Superman factor!

Some time I have so many ideas that my finger cannot cope with my thinking. I'll be like a crazy and pathetic man try to type as fast as I can but to no avail.. People said that ideas is worth more than money but when I offer them money or ideas.. they always choose money...

I think because most of us are short-sighted. We should get a spectacle or binocular to improve our range..as some people say.." don't under estimate the stupidity of a mass!"

I hope we can open a new chapter in our brain after this. Quoting Abang MB .."if you want to be successful, you must have a superman factor!" What he meant actually Superman is more successful than other super heroes and is more remembered because he wear pants outside!

So I keep cracking my head to find the Superman factor untill now still not find it. Everytime I found ideas in relation to my retail stockist business, Abang MB commented- thats good idea..but not good enough!

Maybe what we can do is regroup and restrategize- brainstorming/ brainwashing at place far from our routine place. Maybe we should go for outing, spend time and all our money for 2 weeks oversea to 'oversee' new ideas, strategy, process...in short a Superman factor..remember ideas is worth your money!

Thousand miles journey

ehem.. good things always comes in small package..this is what they say..therefore, pls bear in mind not to simply brush away small opportunity/es that present themselves. most people awaiting big oppo to react unto.. this 'big' doesnt always surrender at our feet..from such small oppo we make them big.. but the question now how to identify 'small' that is/are potential to becomes 'big'. making them big is the challenges that is entirely up to our capability and passion. knowing your passion is the key towards these 'big'... what is our passion then... ytc has identified tahasian 'passion' as per in his recent blog... Me...too muc talk...uncle black..too muc sleep.. backpacker doin too many things simultaneosly... bolt too muc thinkin.. makcik cun too muc countin.. Ahha.. i dont take those remarks personaly but seriously i'm tryin hard to relates those 'passion' with the potential thay may arise.. ytc maybe jokingly reiterated those remarks on us.. i do agree with some of it.. but for uncle black and backpacker they are exceptionally gifted with excellent creativity...colloborating all these 'passion' we could do something huge by complementing each other and compensating others weaknesses.. i am truely believe in these concept of orchastrating our 'passion' and interwoven it into potential strenght. recently when ytc and i havin makan at bandar tech we talked about the carwash pit nearby..which seem to be runnin a fruitful business eventhough just had opened the business not for so long.. they may not noticed the 'complementing' factor that spawned by the existin restaurant nex to their carwash pit. these are things that we need to consider seriously..'complementing factors'.. comes bros and sis.. together we are undisputable..alone u are vulnerable.. the gift that been bestow upon us is the 'numbers' ..10+1 blessed boys and girl.. that is really 'big' which could produce humongous result...

I'm The Most Luckiest Man In The World!

Assalamualaikum

I wrote this as a response to Abang MB writing recently. As we all know, Abang MB is the busiest man in Taahas, with only 2 reasons he write that I can think of- either he can squeeze his time a bit or he has a very important message!

Talk about luck, I like to share with you that I'm a serious chess player. I'm a strong player with FIDE rating above 2000 but not strong (lucky) enough to consistently winning a tournament. Normally in chess, the person who makes the last mistake will loose the game. So, we will say that the winner is lucky but somehow only good players always lucky!

Many years ago, there was one American prisoner in Vietnam camp. He survive. After came back to US, he won many golf tournament. Is he mere lucky? Yes and no..well he made a hole in one but not before years of mental training in prison camp! Why not? He got so many ample time and by practising his shot mentally help him survive and mantain his concience..

So, lets practice but make sure it is correct practice. Practice makes perfect? No- correct practice makes perfect! If not, you might practice a wrong way..

Whatever happen, I still strongly believe that Abang MB will overcome Bob Sandino. Every rejection he received, he is closer to the success. We will never know which deal is strike deal. It could be no 10, 17, 30...and so on and so forth. As long as there is a progress, the target will become nearer and nearer eventhough it takes years to get there.. keep the tyres roll, if not you will be stuck at the bottom..

I have so many stories about luck. Maybe share with you later. Now, I want to have a nice rest while watching tv after a great days!

GOOD LUCK!
